बालश्रम हमारे सभ्य समाज का बदसुरत चेहरा है।ऐसा कहा जाता है गरीबी से गरीबी का जन्म होता है।इसलिए वीभत्स बाल श्रम का जन्म अत्यंत गरीबी की कोख से होता है।रुढीवादी भारतीय अत्यधिक बच्चे पैदा करने में भरोसा करते हैं।वे अपने बच्चों के उज्जवल भविष्य को ठंडे बस्ते में डाल देते हैं।वे अपने औलादों के ख्वाबों का गला घोंट देते हैं। बिना सशक्त शिक्षा के एक इंसान‌ का जीवन बिन पानी के मछली के समान होता है।एक बाल श्रमिक की दुर्दशा का वर्णन करना शब्दों से बाहर‌ है।यह कहना कोई अतिशोकति नहीं है कि एक बाल‌ श्रमिक की जुल्म उसकी भोर होती है और अत्याचार उसकी सांझ।

child labour is an ugly face of our civilized society .it is said that povert begets poverty .so heinous child labour engenders from womb of excessive poverty .the orthodox indian rely on spawning .they put their children’s future into cold storage .they smother their offspring’s surreals .a human being is akin to fish out of water without education.a child labour ‘plight is beyond words .this is not an exaggeration to say that dawn is iniquity and oppression is dusk of a child labourer .
